Voiceover: When you want to lower your soft top, you have the option to remove the rear window and quarter panel assemblies, or leave them on the vehicle. Open on a red Gladiator with doors open and the soft top up, with rear window removed.
Voiceover: If you’d like to remove them, start with the rear window. Soft top is lowered, the rear window removed. Quarter panels are removed. Two men appear, and they retract the soft top together.
Voiceover: Use the bottom straps located on each side to remove the plastic retainers at the lower right and left corners, as well as the lower center retainer.

Voiceover: Keep the rear window level, and slide it outward in either direction until it completely separates from its retainer. A man is shown carefully removing one of the quarter panels.
Voiceover: Do not pull downward, or you could damage the retainer. A hand is shown removing the plastic retainers located on the right and left corners. The hand slides the rear window cover out, removing it completely.

Voiceover: Next, remove the quarter panels. Undo the hook and loop fastener at the upper front corner of the assembly. Pull up on the lower corner of the panel and continue upward to disengage the assembly from its retainer on the door frame. Close-up on the quarter panels, and a hand coming into to undo the hook and loop fastener at the upper front corner.
Voiceover: Pull the quarter panel up, and then out from the bottom. Store the quarter panel assemblies and the rear window in the Soft Top Rear Window Storage Bag, if equipped.

Voiceover: Now you’re ready to lower the soft top into the Sunrider position. Gladiator is shown again, with the rear window and quarter panels removed, and the doors open. Two men approach the vehicle.
Voiceover: With the help of a second person, move to the front of the vehicle and fold both sun visors forward against the windshield .Release the header latches from the crossbar by pulling the handle downward. Make sure the hook is disengaged from its receiver.

Voiceover: From both the left and right sides, begin lifting up on the #1 Bow. From inside the vehicle, a hand moves the sun visors against the windshield and another releases the header latch from the crossbar by pulling the handle downward.
Voiceover: Move to the side of the vehicle and use the side link to finish folding the soft top to. Finally, two hook-and-loop fasteners are provided in the center console. A man is shown lilting up the soft top and folding it down. Hands come in to secure the fasteners to hold the soft top down.

Voiceover: Just wrap them around the linkage to secure the soft top, and you’re ready to go. A final scenic shot of a red Gladiator with the soft top lowered.
